What is an applet? An applet is a single purpose software program. It is usually derived from a larger program. So you can think of it as a child. While there are other definitions of applets, we shall concentrate on this one. Applets usually have limited functions. An example of an applet is the Blood Pressure Monitoring Applet. This applet allows you to install it on a laptop so you can store the data on your blood pressure readings when you are away from home. Then in true applet form, it allows you to transfer the data back into the main Health Profiles program. Our applets are inexpensive, making it easy to own as many applets as needed. Back To FAQs |
